Registered Nurse — Intensive Care — Per Diem Days

Join Centinela Hospital Medical Center in Inglewood, California, delivering attentive, skilled nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit. This per diem role suits an experienced critical-care nurse who can respond quickly to changes in patient condition and work collaboratively with physicians and the care team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for critically ill patients.
• Monitor hemodynamic status, diagnostic results and response to treatment; promptly communicate changes and escalate concerns.
• Support patient and family education, maintain accurate documentation, and protect patient privacy.

Qualifications

• Current, valid California RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• At least one year of staff RN experience in an acute-care hospital critical-care setting.
• Meditech experience is strongly preferred.

Schedule and Assignment

• Day schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., including a 30-minute unpaid meal, for 12 paid hours per completed shift.
• Availability for a minimum of three shifts per week, including weekends, is required.
• Per diem assignment with no guaranteed hours.
• Listed assignment dates: October 12, 2026 through April 11, 2027. Confirm the actual start date with your recruiter.

Compensation

Base pay is $56 per hour. Estimated gross pay for three completed 12-paid-hour shifts is $2,352, including applicable overtime. This estimate assumes all three shifts are worked; hours and weekly earnings are not guaranteed. Confirm your assigned schedule with your recruiter.
